Selamat Hari Raya
Tuesday, August 30th, 2011Picture of the Week
Monday, August 29th, 2011Making to the POTW entry this week is this picture of a construction site worker taking a break from work to make or answer a call via his cell phone. This picture was taken in my trip to KL early August, near Pavilion area.
The next image shows where the construction site are in Kuala Lumpur.
Portrait Preview: Geri
Wednesday, August 24th, 2011Albeit the quiet season in the seventh month in lunar calendar, my schedule has been really tight throughout. Partially, I was aslo tied down with the data backup, migration and restoration work with my then-failing hard disk drive. I have since replaced with a larger capacity. Thankfully it’s working now.
In order to make up with the lack of update, and slow progress with tweaking the new theme. Here is a sneak preview of a portrait session I did with mainly the loaned EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM. Yes, it is tight on my EOS 50D APS-C sensor, but it’s not too bad at all. More of that on a full write up later.
Picture of the Week
Monday, August 22nd, 2011Kuching Festival Food Fair 2011 has drawn to an end yesterday (21 August 2011). The annual festival came to a close after running for three weeks. I was hoping to document a series of shots about this Food Fair festival, but, it wasn’t quite successful.
So, hopefully, we will get a bigger and better festival here next year, and I will be able to get better images of the festival by then!

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011Picture of the Week – The Hive
Tuesday, August 16th, 2011This is a random entry on the hive spotted at Wangsa Maju. My friend spotted this just before he went off to work. I used EF 70-200mm f/4L to shoot this as the hive was quite a distance away from the condo unit. The two pics here were cropped.

I somehow love the backlit on the beehive. I would love to see the details on the hive with a longer telezoom lens.
